Check out the definition of "cholo" at urbandictionary.com. Just about every definition implies a Mexican who dresses in baggie clothes (like jail inmates); basically a gang banger.
So, there is a restaurant chain called "El Cholo". Why would a restaurant want to be affiliated with the gang bangers? Another contradiction is that fact that there is an El Cholo in Irvine, CA, considered one of the safest cities in the United States (based on some 2008 statistical comparison). Oh, the insanity of it all.
